Reindeer Herders

There are several different indigenous reindeer-herding groups in Yakutia, including the Evenki, Dolgans, Yukaghir and Chukchi. Some are semi-nomadic while others are fully nomadic, moving through the taiga and tundra on hand-made, wooden, reindeer-pulled sledges in search of grazing for their herds.
